Pivot of Hearts: Love and Tarot Guide
Want to know what each choice gives you in Pivot of Hearts? Here’s your one stop shop! Spoilers inside, of course.
Intro
Hey guys! I’m here to give some help for Pivot of Hearts. With most choices either requiring you to have cards to pick them or giving you cards to use for choices, I thought it would be great if there was a guide to help out with this. Since there is no guide, I thought…why don’t I make it? Especially since I was thinking of making an 100% Achievement guide…which would require this guide anyway.
I do highly recommend going through the game once blind, picking the choices that your gut tells you to pick, and then use this guide to help you gather the other endings and achievements.
There are some choices that don’t give you Affection Points or Cards, so I’ll mark them with a “–“.
There also does seem to be a Love Catch system here, though there’s no status checker. Depending on the choice you pick, you’ll get different reactions out of the two love interests, with the best ones usually requiring you to have the cards. I’m just going to guess what they mean in terms of points, as you do need a certain threshold for them to accept Wen’s confession (otherwise, they reject it), They are:
Big Sparkling Heart = +2 Affection
Tiny Heart = +1 Affection
No reaction = 0 Affection (Neutral)
Sadness = -1 Affection
These are just guesses, but either way you do want to aim for getting as many hearts as you can. You don’t need to get all of them, but it does seem you need to get most. You may also need to do the solo hangouts too.

So it turns out you might not get to choose who Wen likes depending on the Affection Point count between both love interests. There seems to be a threshold to get this choice where you pick either or, otherwise it’ll default to the love interest that you have the most points with. So if it’s more or less equal by the time you get towards the end of Chapter 3, you’ll be able to pick which love interest you want Wen to pursue. Or maybe you have to have Wen express that he might like men. Once you get a good ending (the one where you do end up going out with either of them), you’ll unlock the choice that will lead you down the locked route!
However, they can reject your confession. You can have enough points for them to pop up as a love interest choice, but not enough for them to accept your confession. If you get rejected, you’ll get a version of the Acceptance ending.
