Games That Interested Me During Nintendo Direct March 2025

Nintendo always knows how to tempt me
So, I’ve been having some computer problems which I was hoping would be fixed before now and, well, it hasn’t. No idea what’s wrong, but I hope I can get it to boot up cause the struggle is real. I’d rather not have to type everything on my phone. This is also probably a sign for me to finally get a new computer. Anyway, a Nintendo Direct happened with a lot of great games being announced for this year and next year. Really making my no buy year hard, huh Nintendo. As always, this is just what caught my eye and i encourage you to watch the direct yourself as my taste isn’t everyone’s taste.
No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files
Releasing July 25, 2025
Kaname Date and the AI-Ball, Aiba tackle a mysterious case and rescue Iris, an internet idol who has been forced to take part in a dangerous escape game.
Even though my reviews for the AI: The Somnium Files games haven’t been published yet, I really did enjoy them. I was not expecting a third game at all and I am excited. I could be wrong, but it looks like this game is taking place in between the first game and the second game.
RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army
Releasing June 19, 2025
Undertake the case of the century in this must-play classic from ATLUS. The studio behind Shin Megami Tensei remasters “Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army” with revamped visuals, QOL updates, new VO, and an overhauled battle system!
Become Raidou Kuzunoha and work with your allied demons to unravel the mysteries that block your path. What was once a missing persons matter soon spirals into a conspiracy that will shake not only the Capital, but the entire nation.
I’m not sure if I’d enjoy this game, as I honestly can’t get into the SMT series, but I remember learning about this game back when the 3DS eshop was closing and wanting to try it out. Well, looks like I actually might be able to once the remaster comes out! Definitely going to do more research since I haven’t played any of the Devil Summoner games, but so far it does seem like something I’d enjoy.
Shadow Labyrinth
Releasing July 18, 2025
Shadow Labyrinth is a 2D action platformer and a genre-twisting alternate take on the iconic PAC-MAN. As The Swordsman, you wake on a mysterious planet amidst relics of wars past. To survive you will discover secrets, consume your enemies, and grow from prey to apex predator.
Haha yes. Definitely want to pick this game up.
Patapon 1+2 Replay
Releasing July 11, 2025
PATAPON is an action adventure where players use the rhythm of 4 Mystical Drums to command cute and mysterious eyeball-like creatures known as Patapons. As the player, you are the God of the Patapons and lead them on a grand adventure to Earthend!
Patapon! I actually have the first game on PSVita that I ended up putting down when I got busy and funnily enough I was thinking of picking it up again.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
Coming 2025
Harness Samus Aran’s new psychic abilities to survive the mysterious planet of Viewros and find a way home.
Damn, this entry really reeling me in despite the only Metroid game that I’ve played being Metroid Dread.
Disney Villains Cursed Cafe
Out Now
Enter the Cursed Café. Step into a world where every cup holds a secret and every sip can change a destiny! As the newest Potionista at the Disney Villains Cursed Café, you’ll create enchanted blends for a cast of legendary figures—Cruella de Vil, The Evil Queen, Gaston, Captain Hook, Jafar, Maleficent, and Ursula—all reimagined in a modern, magical world.
You know me, I love visual novels so naturally this one caught my attention. Especially so when this one has an element of mixing potions for Disney villains.
Witchbrook
Coming Winter 2025
Discover magic and mystery in Witchbrook, a spellbinding witch life-sim for up to 4-players! Start your life as the newest resident witch in the bustling seaside city of Mossport. Make friends, find love, and discover a world filled with wonder and charm on the road to graduation and beyond…
Gosh I remember first learning about Witchbrook years and years ago. I can’t believe it finally has a release window.
Rift of the NecroDancer
Out Now
Dragged into a strange new world, Cadence must engage in musical combat with monsters pouring through the Rift! Each monster has unique behaviors—like bats that shift lanes when attacked—and tougher foes take multiple hits to dispatch. Learn the pattern of each new fretful fiend to keep the music flowing!
I love rhythm games and when I played the demo I liked how it mixed the enemies with the button presses. Kinda like the Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, but if it went full in on the enemies part.
Tamagotchi Plaza
Releasing June 27, 2025
Tamagotchi Plaza is set in Tamahiko Town on Tamagotchi Planet.
Treat cavities at the Dentist. Make the perfect pair of glasses at the Eyewear Shop. Create table settings of sweets and drinks to fulfill customer orders at the Afternoon Tea Shop. Help serve Tamagotchi at 12 unique shops and grow your shops’ reputations, enticing new Tamagotchi to visit your shops!
You can also interact with Tamagotchi, solving their problems and making the shops thrive and the town super lively!
I had one Tamagotchi in my whole life so surely I’m qualified enough…or unqualified enough? Anyway, definitely interested in this one. Has Nintendo been spying on my thoughts and noticed how many times I wanted to get one of those modern Tamagotchis?
Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Coming late 2025
Lumiose City—a home for people and Pokémon alike. Here, thanks to an urban redevelopment plan driven by Quasartico Inc., the lush greenery of verdant parks and natural vistas intermingles with facilities made using the latest cutting-edge technology. A lot has changed here since the days of the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games!
I’m not too sure about this one, especially since I’m someone that didn’t like Legends Arceus, but the battle mechanics does interest me (surprising that a past mechanic, aka mega evolutions, is making a comeback). Pokemon still has a strangle hold on me, so it’s a wait and see for me.
Rhythm Heaven Groove
Coming in 2026
Play a wealth of eclectic rhythm games along with music produced by the renowned Japanese musician Tsunku.
A NEW RHYTHM HEAVEN GAME!?!?!?!
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

OH MY GOSH. A NEW TOMODACHI LIFE GAME.
