So I actually watched this live rather than waiting until it was just a VOD. And then this turned out to be a recap more than just listing the games I’m interested in since there weren’t dozens of games being shown and I did like most of them. Was it worth watching live? Actually, yeah. The only part I was bored during was the last game, since I don’t care about the genre, but it turned out to be the end of the showcase so it was fine. Not gonna lie, the little girl (Diana) being carried on the main character’s back sold me on the game. Plus, I just love her look. Giving her long hair was a great decision.

Super bloody action, crazy twists and turns to blow players’ minds, and a whole mess of kinda-stereotypical gimmicks – all rolled into one wild ride. Our hero Romeo Stargazer is a man stuck between life and death. His own was saved mere seconds before the end by way of a time paradox that shattered the space-time continuum, which was created by a genius scientist screwing around. Now, Romeo is FBI Space-Time special agent “Dead Man”, and sporting a rad mask called Dead Gear, must hunt space-time’s most wanted fugitives through multiple universes!
Damn. I’m not too sure about the dialogue, but man the trailer cutscene was good and the gameplay does look fun (and lowkey gives me No More Heroes vibes). And of course a couple seconds after I wrote that, it was revealed that this is from the developers of No More Heroes so that makes sense. Fingers crossed it’s better than NMH3.

Thought this was the upcoming Silent Hill game right away haha. It looks cool and scary so far. Also omg it’s coming out this year.
Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement
The story unfolds as a mysterious ethereal castle, under the control of “Demon Lord Elias,” casts a shadow over the land, terrorizing citizens with its demonic forces. Time and again, the Kingdom and the Church have deployed strike forces— each effort ending in failure. As another opportunity arises, two heroes are brought together by fate. Leonard Brandon, a young fighter with the Church’s Black Wolves clan and Alexander Kyteler, a knight of the Kingdom’s White Stags and lone survivor of an initial, unsuccessful expedition.
Literally thought this was Castlevania right out the gate, thought it had to be Castlevania when the gameplay was shown off, and I was kind of right. Considering Bloodstained is a Castlevania spiritual successor.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles

The enhanced version adds fully voiced dialogue, an optimized and updated UI, graphical improvements, and a number of other quality of life features. The classic version unites the graphics and gameplay of the original game with the renowned War of the Lions translation and includes convenient features such as auto save.
Yep, I knew this was Final Fantasy cause they used that classic track. Though I did not expect Tactics. I didn’t play Tactics so I might pick this up.
