An adventure where you’ll meet the many good and not-so-good folks of Limbo. Use your wits and keen eye to gather clues from the residents and find items that will help uncover the mystery of Limbo and its curse that traps souls into repeating the same day on loop.

  • The Courier

An alien world sometimes needs a farmer’s touch to bring it to life. In this sci-fi, colonization-life sim, terraform a barren world: turn blasted wastelands into a verdant landscape while exploring, farming, building, and unlocking all the mysteries of this strange new world.

  • Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire

An action-farming-roguelite, full of whimsical flora and mischievous creatures that really want to ruin your dark and mysterious plans of… Going vegan! (㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ) 𝖓𝖔𝖙 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖋𝖆𝖎𝖓𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝖍𝖊𝖆𝖗𝖙.

Oh wait another one lol. I totally was not expecting a farming sim where you’re a vampire let alone one that is vegan. Plus you have to defend your crops overnight. There is a demo so I’ll definitely check it out to see what I feel about it.

  • Critter Crops

Sylvie is a young witch, banished from home for her magic. A mysterious letter brings her to Mur Mur Town, an abandoned, spooky place where a bountiful life awaits her! Grow magical crops, unlock the mysteries of Mutter Island, and build a new home for an aspiring witch and her friends!

Greedventory is a gorgeous pixel-art narrative RPG experience, where the only thing between you and an embarrassingly swift death is your mouse. Strike, parry, and cast powerful spells on your enemies, loot ancient treasures, explore a brutal realm, and become the hero you never wanted to be!

Okay I mainly like this game because of how it looks and how the combat is handled (it really brings in the nostalgia vibes of games that implemented combat the same way. I’d probably see if there is a demo for it later on though.

  • Keylocker

In a silent world where music has been prohibited, B0B0 will serenade her rebellion against the vicious authorities by banding together with the Jukebot drummer, Rocket, to shatter the strings of fate and sing the melody of freedom in this unforgiving Rhythm Turn Based JRPG.

I have been looking forward to this game since it released and every time a trailer is shown I hope that we get a release date. Since I loved their previous game, Virgo Vs The Zodiac, I know I’ll love this one as well (though I still need to play the demo).

  • Necrosmith (2022)

A necromancer simulator where you need to assemble the dead using different body parts while upgrading your tower. Combine the abilities of the different fantastic races to fight your way through the hordes of enemies and overrun the ’chosen ones’.

I’ll want to play the demo for sure, but this looked like it would be an interesting play (as it is an interesting concept).

  • Falling Out (2022)

FALLING OUT is a light-hearted roguelite platformer where you take control of an oddball couple who are on a holiday from hell. Work together as you navigate randomly generated temples all whilst dodging traps, slaying enemies and crafting weapons in an attempt to escape before the temple floods.

Future Games Show

Luto is a first person psychological horror narrative experience where you will embody a person unable to exit his own house. Finding the way to leave it will lead you through a series of paths that will challenge your senses.

So creepy I love it. I hope more gets shown as the release comes closer though.

The art style is interesting and I love murder mysteries.

  • Thymesia (August 9, 2022)

Thymesia is a gruelling action-RPG with fast-paced combat and an intricate plague weapon system. In a kingdom where death spreads, play as a mysterious character known by the code name “Corvus”. Prey upon your enemies, wield the power of disease and find the truth in your own memories.

I remember seeing this a while ago and I might have just been like “yah wishlist” just on the name. Well good thing is, that the gameplay looks pretty solid so far. Sometimes my power works out.

  • Killer Frequency (2022)

Killer Frequency is a first-person horror adventure that puts you in the shoes of Forrest Nash, a late-night radio host whose callers are being stalked by a mysterious killer. Solve puzzles, save lives and run the switchboards, all while listening to a jukebox of retro ‘80s tunes!

MultiVersus is a platform fighter that lets you team up with or against your friends using some of the world’s most iconic characters including Batman, Shaggy, Superman, Bugs Bunny & more. Use unique co-op abilities, find your favorite fighter combos and save the Multiverse!

I’m not a big fan of fighting games, but when I caught a livestream of this game it looked really fun (and man Jakes lines toward Taz are hilarious, even more so when he had to most lines towards a character). I’m so sad I missed the first playtest, but I heard there will be one in July.

  • Shadows of Doubt

First-person detective stealth game set in a fully-simulated sci-fi noir city. There’s a serial killer on the loose, and it’s up to you to catch them by any means necessary: Sneak, tail, hide, hack and lock-pick. Just keep a low profile!

  • Instinction

Instinction is a prehistoric action-adventure game, with combat and exploration in multiple awe inspiring natural locations. Take on treacherous beasts and embark on an unforgettable journey.

This lowkey reminds me of a webtoom called Survival Log and maybe that’s why I’m interested in it lol.

Take on the role of Felix, a young man who, along with his fellow citizens, faces the imminent threat of falling under the control of the city’s authoritarian Leader once and for all. Accidentally becoming the only person who recognizes the threat, Felix must try to stop the menace.

Chop, stir, and sauté your way through this massive new adventure from the makers of the million selling “Cook, Serve, Delicious!” series!

Come on, I have to pick up the upcoming Cook Serve Delicious game. Plus it’s a cooking game (though way more stressful).

  • Railbound

A relaxing puzzle game about fixing train connections from the makers of Golf Peaks and inbento!

Honestly digging this relaxing puzzle game. And with the same developers of Golf Peaks and inBento! Though I’m 100% sure it’s going to get so hard in the later half of the game.

Capcom Showcase

  • Resident Evil Village Updates, Shadow of Rose DLC, and Re:Verse (October 28, 2022)
So it looks like the DLC we’ll be getting will revolve around Rose Winters, Ethan and Mia’s daughter. And it will be in third person. This is set 16 years after Village’s ending (and man way later than what I would expect as even I subscribed to the theory that she was growing faster like Eveline did). Also oh man The Duke is here. This looks pretty interesting and I hope we’ll get some more DLC later on too.
Mercenaries is also set to get an update where you can play as Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg, and Alcina Dimitrescu; which I might actually play it once that releases. Just to play as Heisenberg and Dimitrescu.
We will also be getting a third person mode for the main game so yah I think I’ll replay it in third person too (and it would be good to replay it once the DLC comes out).
We also got a release date for Re:Verse, which was originally supposed to release alongside Village but got delayed twice. I’m a bit concerned that a trailer didn’t play (I’m guessing since we already know what it’s going to be anyway), but since it came free with my purchase of Village I’ll at least check it out.
And all of this seems to be coming just in time for Halloween on October 28.
